Blue

Blue is our most recent arrival at Lucky's. He is a medicine hat Paint Horse. Those aren't dirt splotches on his white coat those are paint markings. He is 14h, approx 750 lbs and gaining needed weight. He is 25 years old, super sweet - would be perfect for a first horse. He is great with trims, grooming, saddling, mounting. He has been ridden once so far at the farm - walk/trot. He has the best little jog. Oh and baby BLUE eyes!

Bonnie

Bonnie was rescued, along with Clyde, from a dealer who was selling horses and donkeys for slaughter. She was very thin when she arrived, but very friendly and happy to be here. She has been cleared from quarantine and is now waiting for her forever home.

Clyde

Clyde was rescued, along with Bonnie, from a dealer who was selling horses and donkeys for slaughter. He already had a slaughter tag in his ear when we took him from there. He has been cleared from quarantine, is available for adoption and waiting for his forever home, where he won't be abandoned or sold for slaughter again!

Lucky's Amazing Grace

Gracie is a beautiful 6 year old palomino Hafflinger mare who has mountains of potential. She has been under saddle prior to arriving here and has made an amazing amount of progress since joining us! She has been receiving regular ground work and training while with us. She does have significant vision loss but is 100% capable of being ridden and driven with the right family who has the patience to work with her.

Gracie has a very sweet temperament and loves attention and returning it! She is available for adoption and ready to go to her FOREVER HOME

Mama

Mama was a horse formally rescued by EPONA. When EPONA closed last year she went to the NH SPCA. In mid January Mama came home to Lucky's Legacy!

Sweet Mama is, 15.1H, Bay Thoroughbred Mare in her mid-teens. She has a history of EPM but exhibits no neurological issues and has been in complete remission for years. She's been cleared for light work and was ridden in her past. She's has been waiting a long time for the right person to come along and give her a FOREVER HOME.

Scout

Scout is a rescue horse that arrived at Lucky's Legacy in the late fall 2010. He has recently been giving lessons with kids at Lucky's Legacy and has a nice steady walk trot on the lunge line.

Scout is a flashy handsome 14.3hh strawberry roan Appaloosa gelding in his early twenties. He is completely sound and can be ridden. He has been under saddle. Unfortunately he is blind in one eye and would need a home with a confident rider.

Willie

Willie arrived at Lucky's Legacy in early January. He was rescued from a neglectful situation in danger of being sent to slaughter. He is a former trail horse from a large Trail Riding Facility in NH, where he took many people all over the trails and through the woods.

Willie is a Standardbred gelding in his early twenties. He has good manners and is easy to work around. He would be a great horse for someone wanting to do light riding in the ring or on the trails. Willie has been ridden while here at Lucky's Legacy and even gave children pony rides at our Spring Open house.
